Amherst-Pelham Regional fell to Minnechaug Regional 53-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
South Hadley led Suburban in scoring this week by notching 46 points on Holyoke. T.J. Fitzell ran for 162 yards and caught 2 passes for 13 yards in the win.
The Tigers' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. P.J. Sears threw for 138 and 1 touchdown and Mark Kelleher had 51 yards receiving. On the ground Fitzell chipped in 162 yards. Griffin Fitzell helped South Hadley's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 38 yards.
Fitzell was a passing and rushing force as South Hadley topped the Knights. Fitzell's favorite target this week was Kelleher, who caught 4 passes for 51 yards.
Kelleher was the best wideout in the league this week as Eric Scammons' team beat Holyoke. Fitzell helped South Hadley's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 38 yards.
South Hadley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sears has thrown for 1,102 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Fitzell has 18 catches for 357 yards.
The Tigers made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,702 from 9,514. The improvement was largely due to a 46-28 victory over Bob Lastowski's team last week.
