 Serenity Taylor tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in four consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side,  KJ Worsham and  Daycee Howard did most of the damage at the plate:  Worsham  went 2-for-3 with five  RBI and one  run, while  Howard  went 3-for-4 with two  doubles, two  RBI,  and one  run. Those  five  RBI gave  Worsham a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bryn Denny, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs.

 Meanwhile, Notre Dame fought the good fight in their extra-innings  game against Greenup County  on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Musketeers by a score of  4-3. The Titans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Jackson has  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Notre Dame, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-3.
