Osceola is a perfect 10-0 against Clearwater since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will challenge the Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Osceola sitting on four straight wins and Clearwater on seven.
Osceola is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Estero by a score of 6-2.

Aliyah Lai made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Cassidy Allen was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Jenna Neupaver was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
Osceola kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Clearwater's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let Seminole get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Tornadoes have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Like Osceola, Clearwater also got a great game from a two-way player: Morgan Maske. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Maske was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sydney Wilhelm, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Juleah Patterson, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Clearwater's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-9. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Osceola, their win bumped their record up to 22-7.
Clearwater's pitching crew better be locked in on Thursday. Osceola hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. It's a different story for Clearwater, though, as they've been averaging only 0 home runs. Will they be able to keep Osceola in the park?
Osceola came out on top in a nail-biter against Clearwater in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
