Basketball Recap: Southampton Academy Skates Past Yeshivas Aish Kodesh Talmudical Academy with Ease

Southampton Academy won the last time they faced Yeshivas Aish Kodesh Talmudical Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Southampton Academy Raiders blew past Yeshivas Aish Kodesh Talmudical Academy 68-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Southampton Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from G Applewhite, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 boards. The matchup was Applewhite's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of A Darden, who posted 16 points and three steals.

The win got Southampton Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Yeshivas Aish Kodesh Talmudical Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Southampton Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-59 defeat against Banner Christian on the 10th.
