There's no place like home for North Decatur, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 59-14 win over the Eastern Greene Thunderbirds. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won four contests by 27 points or more so far this season.

North Decatur was led to victory by Corbin Thackery and Matthew Fields. Thackery gained 152 total yards and three touchdowns, while Fields threw for 169 yards and three TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch The Chargers also got help from Hunter Meister, who showed off his sure hands for 81 receiving yards.

North Decatur pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average this season. As for Eastern Greene, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

The Thunderbirds will need to watch out since the Miners have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
