Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Izzy Silcox, who went 5 for 9 to rack up 16 points. Silcox continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Mcconnell, who posted 12 points and five steals.
Richmond can attribute much of their success to Amyannah Tucker, who went 8 of 14 en route to 26 points. Maren Bolser was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.
Greenfield-Central has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-8 record this season. As for Richmond, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-11.
