Clearview scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Shawnee, 20-14. At the time, the Renegades was ranked 12th in the state, while the Pioneers was 103rd.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Shawnee, who took down 12th ranked Shawnee, 20-14.
Pennsauken's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyee White threw for 21 yards and Marlin Finley had 19 yards receiving. On the ground Finley chipped in 192 yards. Korey Mitchell helped Pennsauken's passing attack out by catching one ball for two yards.
Pennsauken's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Deyon Edwards has thrown for 439 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Larenz Brown has nine catches for 133 yards. Finley leads the league in rushing with 558 yards.
Tim Gushue's team suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after falling to Clearview. The Renegades had been ranked 12th, but fell to 29 following the defeat.
