Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sterlington). They claimed a resounding 69-35 win over the West Ouachita Chiefs. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 26 points or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Sterlington, bringing their record for this year to 5-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for West Ouachita, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Sterlington Panthers duke it out with the Neville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sterlington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. West Ouachita will take on Beekman Charter in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
