Clearwater Valley waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They claimed a resounding 67-35 victory over the Genesee Bulldogs. That 32 point margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Genesee lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Noah Bollman, who posted 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals. That was a full 37.1% of Genesee's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Banks, who posted 11 points.

Clearwater Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Genesee, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

After both having extra time off, Clearwater Valley and Highland will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Genesee, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pomeroy at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
