On Saturday, Prairie earned a 46-37 win over Dayspring Christian Academy.
Prairie got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brennan Bringelson out in front who scored 13 points along with three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bringelson has scored at least 25% of Prairie's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Carlson, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Dayspring Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Owen Mcclanahan and Hudson Weigt. Mcclanahan scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Weigt scored five points along with five steals. Mcclanahan continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Even though they lost, Dayspring Christian Academy were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Prairie's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
