Softball Recap: Rivercrest Wins Going Away Against Pewitt

Rivercrest got themselves on the board against Pewitt on Tuesday, but Pewitt never followed suit. They blew past the Brahmas 10-0. Considering the Rebels have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Rivercrest is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Pewitt, they dropped their record down to 5-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Rivercrest will challenge Detroit at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pewitt will be paying especially close attention to the Rebels' game: after the Rebels faces off against the Eagles, they'll take on Pewitt again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
