Elkmont came into Friday's game looking for another win against Clements, but Jake Fleming wouldn't allow it. The Colts enjoyed a cozy 50-31 win over the Red Devils on Friday with plenty of help from Fleming, who rushed for 357 yards and six scores while picking up 13.7 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 55 yards.

Clements didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Grayson Borden and Kingston Croft. Croft got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Cooper Wales and Reid Bardos certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Wales picked up 211 receiving yards and three TDs, while Bardos threw for 314 yards and four touchdowns.

Clements' victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Elkmont, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clements will host Tanner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elkmont, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sheffield at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
