The Amherst County Lancers's game  two weeks ago was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They escaped with a win against Liberty Christian by the margin of a single free throw,  51-50. This was payback for Amherst County, who suffered a  69-43  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Amherst County got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jayden Black out in front who  scored ten points along with seven  steals and five  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Jaion Morris, who  scored 14 points along with three  steals.
 Amherst County's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Liberty Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
 Amherst County will head out on the road to  take on  Glass at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Liberty Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
