Pembroke had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Attica on Thursday. The Dragons blew past the Blue Devils 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won five contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Austin Humphrey looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Pembroke got a  massive  performance out of  Jayden Bridge, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kylan Ball, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Pembroke  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .676. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Pembroke's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Attica, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
