On Friday Dexter take on New Madrid County Central at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close contest.
Dexter were able to grind out a solid victory over Salem last Friday, winning 28-20. Senior Corbin Strong, who rushed for 139 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Dexter's success. In fact, with 15 tackles Strong was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, New Madrid County Central took their match against East Prairie by a conclusive 68-38 score.
Their wins bumped Dexter to 1-1 and New Madrid County Central to 2-0. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
