The Calvin Christian Crusaders are taking a road trip to challenge the Rock Academy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Calvin Christian will be strutting in after a win while Rock Academy will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Calvin Christian really took it to Orange Glen for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-35 victory. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Calvin Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Lapka out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance also gave Lapka a new career-high in blocks (three). Noah Lampkins was another key player, going 6 for 9 on his way to 15 points and three steals.
Meanwhile, Rock Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The contest between them and El Capitan didn't end well, with Rock Academy falling 60-43.
Calvin Christian will have to contain James Whitley as he made an impact in Rock Academy's last game. He dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. The game was Whitley's sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Jonathan Park also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.
Even though they lost, Rock Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.2 assists per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 11.
Rock Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Calvin Christian, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Calvin Christian has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29 boards per game. However, it's not like Rock Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Calvin Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Rock Academy when the teams last played back in January, winning 52-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calvin Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
