Parkview is 0-6 against Benton since March of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Parkview is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 20-5 margin over ESTEM on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Patriots needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Ma'Kylah Palmer made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ma'Kyyah Palmer, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three doubles, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Avory Withers, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Parkview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Benton faced Sheridan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Yellowjackets. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Benton's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Parkview, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14.
Parkview might still be hurting after the 18-0 defeat they got from Benton in their previous matchup back in April of 2022. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
