Braymer gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 68-46 margin over North Harrison.
Braymer found their leader in underclassman Dakota Brandon, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carter Shoe, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
Even though Polo has not done well against Winston recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Polo blew past Winston 74-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Polo.
Braymer's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Polo, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Braymer couldn't quite finish off Polo in their previous matchup back in February and fell 56-53. Can Braymer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
