Potsdam extended the longest winning streak in Section 7/10 Class A this week by beating Williams, 54-12. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Sandstoners.
Potsdam took down the Golden Bears 54-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Massena's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Rory Corcoran threw for 92 yards and Tyler Simms had 31 yards receiving. On the ground JP Reagan chipped in 78 yards. Reagan helped Massena's passing attack out by catching two balls for 25 yards.
The Red Raiders' Corcoran and Simms have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Corcoran has thrown for 302 yards this season, while Simms, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has three catches for 81 yards. Jim Kirka's team's Oden Roberston leads the league in rushing yards with 471.
The Sandstoners led the league in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Williams.
