Chillicothe had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 40-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Higgins. Chillicothe was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Higgins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Chillicothe off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Higgins a 1-0 record.
Next week, Chillicothe take on Guthrie at 7:30 PM. Higgins are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against San Jacinto Christian Academy next week at 7:30 PM.
