After a string of four wins, the Carlisle Christian Academy Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 61-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Heritage Christian Academy. Carlisle Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Despite the loss, Carlisle Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Gabe Kearney, who scored 27 points. That was a full 50% of Carlisle Christian Academy's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jonathan McKnight was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Carlisle Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.
Carlisle Christian Academy will face off against the at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Heritage Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
