The biggest upset of the week belonged to Yale, who took down 216th ranked Barnsdall, 34-19. JR Wakely ran for 106 yards in the win.
Kiefer extended the longest winning streak in A District 7 this week by beating Depew, 47-12. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Trojans.
Kiefer's dynamic duo of Justin Reasor and Marcus Shadowens proved tough for the Hornets to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Reasor threw for 26 yards and Shadowens had 26 yards receiving. Trysten Edwards helped Kiefer's passing attack out by catching one ball for two yards.
Josh Calvert's team's Justin Rovang and Austin Ford have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Rovang has thrown for 286 yards this season, while Ford has five catches for 98 yards. Wakely from the Bulldogs leads the league in rushing with 424 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Morrison takes on Yale. The Wildcats are in third place, while Craig Ellis's team is in second place.
Drumright was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in A District 7. The Tornadoes beat Wellston 7-0 earlier in the week.
