If Nuview Bridge hoped to take revenge for the 64-47 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
San Jacinto Valley Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jacob Fisher, who scored 13 points. Fisher continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Carter Kelly was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Nuview Bridge's loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nuview Bridge will square off against Desert Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. San Jacinto Valley Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Calvin Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th.
