Despite the defeat, Triangle Math & Science had strong showings from Ayman Idrissi, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds, and Adam Adan, who scored 8 points.
Reid Albright was on fire for Chatham Central: he dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Albright has scored at least 25% of Chatham Central's points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Gilliland, who scored 9 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
Triangle Math & Science's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Chatham Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Triangle Math & Science will play host again and welcome NCSSM: Durham, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chatham Central and Western Harnett will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Western Harnett is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
