Calvert is 0-7 against the Wolverines since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Calvert Cavaliers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Westlake Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. Calvert has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28.
Last Tuesday, Calvert came up short against the Hurricanes and fell 58-45.
Meanwhile, Westlake didn't have too much trouble with the Patriots at home on Wednesday as they won 61-46.
It was another big night for Darian Canty, who scored 29 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Darius Kemper, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Calvert dropped their record down to 2-15 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Westlake, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
