The Brethren Bobcats's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Walkerville Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th.
Last Tuesday, Brethren was the victim of a rough 54-31 defeat at the hands of Marion. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Brethren has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Walkerville scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Crossroads Charter Academy with a sharp 65-42 win. Walkerville pushed the score to 48-27 by the end of the third, a deficit Crossroads Charter Academy had little chance of recovering from.
Brethren's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Walkerville, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.
Brethren suffered a grim 66-41 defeat to Walkerville in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Brethren avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
