Volleyball Recap: Oxford Has No Trouble Against New Albany

Oxford had won three straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 5-1 to make it four. They blew past the New Albany Bulldogs 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chargers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2020.

As for New Albany, they now have a losing record of 3-4-2. The game marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

When it comes to explaining why New Albany lost, don't look at Lizzie Moore. Despite the final result, she had four digs and three aces. Claire Long also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Coming up, Oxford will challenge Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Albany has already played their next matchup (against Nettleton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
