The Northridge Grizzlies are on the road again on Friday to play the Windsor Wizards at 12:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Friday, everything went Northridge's way against Ponderosa as Northridge made off with a 17-9 win.
Brooke Riofrio made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Riofrio was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bo Tellez, who went 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, five runs, and five RBI. Northridge has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for Windsor, their record is now 24-2.
