Meanwhile, Kingsland waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They had just enough and edged Goodhue out 76-74. That's two games straight that Kingsland has won by exactly two points.
It was another big night for Max Erdman, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times he's played. Jayden Brink was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Fillmore Central's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Kingsland, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
