Skipstone Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Griffith Teate, who scored 15 points along with two steals. That was a full 46.9% of Skipstone Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Memphis Housman was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Skipstone Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Skipstone Academy will head out on the road to face off against Hills Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Averaging 66.53 points so far this season, Hills Academy's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Skipstone Academy better be ready for a challenge. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they will face off against New Creation Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Creation Christian Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Sherwood Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
