Christel House lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Terrance Meredith, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Lamar Jones was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks.
Tindley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Damon Van Horn, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Julian Norwood, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Christel House has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. As for Tindley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christel House will take on Indianapolis Shortridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tindley, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Indianapolis Arsenal Technical at 7:30 p.m. Tindley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 393 points over their last six contests.
