Pro Stock Royals Academy put the hurt on Grace Academy with a sharp 11-2 victory on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Royals as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.
David Rowles tossed a big game, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits.
At the plate, Nick Santos was a standout: he scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jace Parenteau, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Alex Stiefel made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nolan Rutherford, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of James Lowe, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
