On Friday Toledo will take on Coquille at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
Don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise Toledo and Glide were playing football. Last Friday, Toledo came out on top in a nail-biter against Glide, sneaking past 59-56. Toledo found their leader in underclassman sophomore Jaxon Rozewski, who passed for 613 yards and 8 touchdowns. If you haven't heard Rozewski's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past seven games.
Meanwhile, Coquille might be getting used to good results now that the squad has four wins in a row. They were the clear victor by a 50-16 margin over Gold Beach/Pacific. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-0.
Their wins bumped Coquille to 6-2 and Toledo to 5-3. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Coquille and Toledo will really light up the scoreboard.
