The Panther Valley Panthers will challenge the Williams Valley Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Williams Valley took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Panther Valley, who comes in off a win.
Panther Valley headed into their last game having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Notre Dame let them put that streak behind them. The Panthers never let the Spartans get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Brody Breiner made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Logan Fisher was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Connor Penberth, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Panther Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Williams Valley had taken Minersville down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Vikings took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Battlin' Miners. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mason Bowser was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Williams Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Boehmer, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.
Williams Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Panther Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.
Panther Valley skirted past Williams Valley 3-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
