It's playoff time, and Hamshire-Fannett had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Scarborough Spartans a 30-0 shutout on Saturday. The Longhorns' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Hamshire-Fannett is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-16-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Scarborough, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
