The Olathe Northwest Ravens will be playing at home against the Mill Valley Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Olathe Northwest came up short against the Falcons and fell 71-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (58), Olathe Northwest still had to take the loss.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Gavin Popik, who scored 15 points along with five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Caden Campbell was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five assists and two steals.
Meanwhile, Mill Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Hawks on Friday, but they still walked away with a 60-55 victory.
Olathe Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Mill Valley, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.
