The Grandview Heights Bobcats had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They didn't even let Mifflin onto the board and left with a 24-0 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Grandview Heights just coasted through the last quarter.
Grandview Heights found their leader in underclassman Henry Ohlinger, who rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Ohlinger's longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards. Jack Clifford was another key contributor, throwing for 161 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes.
Grandview Heights is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Mifflin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
Grandview Heights has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Martins Ferry at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Mifflin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
