The Beatrice Orangemen and the St. Paul Wildcats will round out the year against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Beatrice is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Last Thursday, Beatrice faced Minden in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Beatrice took a 62-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Minden. The loss put an end to Beatrice's undefeated start to the season.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for St. Paul, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-36 loss to Boone Central on Thursday. St. Paul has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Beatrice's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-1. As for St. Paul, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
