Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Thomas More). They claimed a resounding 71-14 victory over the Racine Lutheran Crusaders. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Crusaders are ranked 297th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Thomas More's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Racine Lutheran, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Thomas More will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against New Berlin West at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Racine Lutheran, they will venture away from home to take on Wilmot at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Racine Lutheran is facing Wilmot at the right time seeing as Wilmot is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
