On Friday, The Londonderry Lancers faced the Salem Blue Devils in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Londonderry took down Salem 28-14. The win was familiar territory for Londonderry who now have five in a row.
Londonderry's victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.0 points per game. As for Salem, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.
Londonderry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Salem also has no future games currently scheduled.
