Lubbock's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Caprock Longhorns. The win continues a trend for the Westerners in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won four in a row.

Nano Carrillo was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Tighe Sanches, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Lubbock's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Caprock, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Lubbock will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Longhorns: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
