Northland Christian found their leader in underclassman Gabby White, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which White has scored at least a third of Northland Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sami Hearn, who scored two points along with 18 rebounds and two steals.
First Baptist Christian's defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.4 points per game. As for Northland Christian, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
First Baptist Christian will head out on the road to take on Alpha Omega Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northland Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rosehill Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rosehill Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Northland Christian in Texas (Rosehill Christian is ranked 231st, while Northland Christian is ranked 1242nd).
