Barrett Fallon Dazzles in Davenport Victory
Starting off the list is Davenport's Barrett Fallon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Fallon rushed for 250 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 85-yard run.
Fredericksburg had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Fallon it was a similar story. When Fallon last faced the Billies back in November of 2023, he rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also caught a touchdown.

Erik Coronado Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Erik Coronado produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pleasanton to the win on Friday. Coronado rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (104.3). He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 51 yards.
With the win, Pleasanton broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3. Coronado and Pleasanton will venture away from home to square off against Fredericksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

James Garza Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
James Garza posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (114.8).
Canyon Lake's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Garza and Canyon Lake will head out to face off against Uvalde on Friday.

Cade Segura Turns in Season-Best Effort
Cade Segura produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pleasanton to the win on Friday. Segura threw for 116 yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
On the year, Segura has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 181.5 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four passing touchdowns.

Fredericksburg came up short on Friday despite Brooks Immel delivering his best game to date. Immel rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 96 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Immel has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 172.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 9.86 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 18.86 rushing yards.
