Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westlake Academy). They blew past the Johnson County Sports Association Lions 65-42 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Blacksmiths, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Tucker Grayson and Jason Calaway certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Grayson dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds, while Calaway posted seven points in addition to nine assists and eight boards. Grayson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Westlake Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Johnson County Sports Association, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
