The Carlin Railroaders were the 30-27 winner over the Whittell Warriors when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Carlin had to suffer through a rough 54-27 loss at the hands of Whittell. Carlin's loss keeps them winless this season.
Alex Rvovic continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Whittell, shooting 6-for-10 from deep and dropping a double-double on 24 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rvovic has scored at least 25% of Whittell's points. Rocky Laremore was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 14 rebounds and 5 assists.
Carlin's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Whittell, their victory bumped their record up to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carlin is on the road again on Saturday and play against Silver Stage at 10:15 a.m. on December 9th. As for Whittell, they will face off against enCompass Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. EnCompass Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
