If the Webster Warriors were feeling good off their 51-31 takedown of the Buffalo Valley Buffaloes on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Webster took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of McCurtain on Saturday.
Webster lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Hondo Avington, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Amondre Davis, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Webster's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for McCurtain, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.
Webster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. McCurtain and Okay will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Okay has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 533 points over their last seven matches.
