Heart of America recap November 5, 2013
Trinity's Eric Banning recorded the longest rushing play in Heart of America this season in his game against Haven last week. Banning scampered for 98 yards on the play and finished with 155 on the day as his team beat the Wildcats.
Sedgwick extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Remington, 75-14. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Cardinals.
Brylie Ware threw for 221 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Banning was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 155 yards on 4 carries as Trinity topped the Broncos. David Thibualt also contributed to the rushing game with 114 yards on the ground.
Sedgwick's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cardinals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ware has thrown for 2,214 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while Greer Chandler has 43 catches for 701 yards.
Jeff Werner's team took down Remington 75-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ware ran for 107 yards in the win.
