The Higbee Tigers will be playing at home against the Braymer Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Higbee entered their tilt with Southwest with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. Higbee claimed a resounding 77-38 win over Southwest on the road. Given Higbee's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while Southwest is ranked 539th), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Braymer came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Tina-Avalon, posting a 60-28 victory on the road.
Higbee's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Braymer, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
Higbee strolled past Braymer when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 68-54. Will Higbee repeat their success, or does Braymer have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
