While Morgan's win against East Hampton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies had just enough and edged out the Bellringers 5-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won three contests in a row.
Creighton Johnson was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs.
In other batting news, Benji Brown was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April.
