La Joya's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-26. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, their victory bumped their record up to 10-20.
La Joya didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo when the teams last played on January 9th, but they still walked away with a 33-28 victory.
